Metal scrap yards and recyclers
Ferrous and non-ferrous scrap moves fast and in bulk. DhartiQ is building a yard register where every weighbridge slip, grade and dispatch ties back to a supplier, without replacing the books you keep in Tally.
Early access means: the software works and you can try it now with sample data. We set it up for you in a paid pilot at the Starter price, and you talk directly to the people who build it.
Rules that apply to you.
- GST invoices and e-way bills for inward and outward movement
- Hazardous and Other Wastes Rules, 2016 authorisations for regulated scrap and residues
- EPR and records for registered vehicle scrapping facilities, where applicable
A plain-language summary, not legal advice. Check the current notification and your consent or authorisation conditions.
Where things go wrong today.
- Gross, tare and net weights are re-typed from slips, with errors and disputes
- Grade changes after sorting are not recorded against the original purchase
- Stock in the yard never quite matches purchases minus dispatches
What DhartiQ does for you.
- Weighbridge entry per vehicle: gross, tare, net and slip number against the supplier
- Grade-wise yard stock with sorting losses recorded, not guessed
- Purchase and dispatch registers you can export for your accountant, so accounts stay in Tally
Common questions.
What does DhartiQ track for a scrap yard?
Purchases by supplier and grade (HMS, shredded steel, copper, aluminium, brass), gross and tare at the weighbridge, sorting and cutting batches with their losses, and sales to steel plants, foundries or traders.
Does it replace my accounting software?
No. Accounting and GST stay in Tally or your current software. DhartiQ keeps the material register: what came in, what was processed and what went out, which you can export to back your accounts and any audit of material origin.
Is the metal scrap module live?
It is in early access with a working demo; we run pilots with yards. Biomedical waste is the module in full production use.
What does it cost?
From ₹4,999 a month plus 18% GST, with a free 30-day pilot. Growth is ₹14,999 a month and Enterprise starts at ₹39,999 a month.
