Biomedical waste treatment facilities (CBWTF)
This is where DhartiQ started, and it runs today. It is built for common bio-medical waste treatment facilities to track every colour-coded bag from the hospital ward to treatment, and to answer the pollution control board with records instead of registers.
Rules that apply to you.
- Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, as amended: colour coding, bar-coded bags and containers, and GPS on collection vehicles
- Daily records of waste received and treated, and the annual report to the State Pollution Control Board
- Conditions of your consent to operate and the SPCB’s online monitoring requirements
A plain-language summary, not legal advice. Check the current notification and your consent or authorisation conditions.
Where things go wrong today.
- Hospitals hand over bags with no label, or with labels that are never scanned
- Drivers write weights on paper, and the plant re-weighs with different numbers
- Monthly and annual returns are rebuilt by hand from registers and spreadsheets
What DhartiQ does today.
- QR labels printed per plant with a unique prefix; hospitals tag bags or the plant prints for them
- Android driver app: scan, weigh and capture GPS at each hospital, even without signal (scans are queued and sent later)
- Plant gate receiving with weight reconciliation between hospital, driver and plant
- Hospital (HCF) registry with Excel import, beds, routes, drivers and vehicles
- Government report screens for the SPCB, built from the bag records
- Multi-plant and multi-company: each operator’s data is isolated at the database level
Common questions.
What does DhartiQ do for a CBWTF?
It gives every bag a QR label, records it when the hospital tags it, when the driver collects and weighs it, and when the plant gate weighs it again. Weight differences are flagged, and dashboards and reports follow the APPCB CBMWTF formats.
Which bag colours does it support?
Yellow, red, blue and white (sharps), as set out in the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, with the colour on every label and report.
Do hospitals and drivers need an app?
Hospitals use a simple web portal. Drivers and gate staff use the Android field app, which scans QR labels with the camera and keeps working when the signal drops.
Is the biomedical module live?
Yes. It is the module in full production use, with a live demo you can open without signing up.
What does it cost?
From ₹4,999 a month plus 18% GST, with a free 30-day pilot. Growth is ₹14,999 a month and Enterprise starts at ₹39,999 a month.
