Bulk solid-waste generators
Large campuses, apartment complexes, hotels, malls and factories classed as bulk waste generators have to segregate, process wet waste where required, and hand the rest only to authorised agencies. DhartiQ is building the record of what left your gate and where it went.
Early access means: the software works and you can try it now with sample data. We set it up for you in a paid pilot at the Starter price, and you talk directly to the people who build it.
Rules that apply to you.
- Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 (in force from 1 April 2026): bulk waste generators include sites with 20,000 m² or more of floor area, 40,000 litres of water use a day, or 100 kg of waste a day
- Segregation at source into four streams: wet, dry, sanitary and special care waste
- Wet waste processed on site, or a certificate for off-site processing under Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility (EBWGR)
A plain-language summary, not legal advice. Check the current notification and your consent or authorisation conditions.
Where things go wrong today.
- No record of which agency took which stream, or how much
- On-site composter or biogas output is not measured
- Audits and ESG reports rely on estimates
What DhartiQ does for you.
- Stream-wise daily quantities from each block, kitchen or plant
- Hand-over receipts from authorised agencies, scanned against the pickup
- Monthly summaries for the local body and for your ESG report
Common questions.
Who is a bulk waste generator?
